*There will be a brief tennis meeting in Coach Rugg's room after school on Tuesday for any high school girl who plans on playing tennis in the spring. The meeting will begin at 3:05.
*For High Schooler’s interested in academic challenge, there will be a short informational meeting in Mr. Kulick's room #222 at lunch on Friday 9/12
*Anyone interested in joining the forensic speech team, there will be an organizational meeting in Mrs. Simmons' classroom Tuesday, Sept. 9, during lunch.
*Middle school yearbooks are in. Please see Mrs. Rugg to pick up your copy. If you have not purchased a copy yet, but would like to, there is still a limited number available for $7.00.
*Part-Time Help Needed. Do you like FREE movies? Celebration! Cinema is hiring for part time help on weekends and evenings. Co-op students are welcome for some day time hours. Must be 16 years or older. Apply in person at Celebration! Cinema.
*Volunteer Opportunities: Attend a Volunteer Meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 4-5:30 p.m. at the Salvation Army Care Center (see Mrs. DiBrito for address). Can you do third grade homework? Do you like to read? Do you like to work with kids, if so the Salvation Army of Benton Harbor needs you. See Mrs. DiBrito for more information.
*Miss Baroda applications will be available beginning Sept. 14. You must live in the Baroda Township or have a Baroda mailing address and be between the ages of 17 & 21 to be eligible. A fashion show and informational meeting will be held on Sunday, Sept. 14th at 3:00 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Baroda. A parent must attend the meeting with the contestant. Flyers are available in Mrs. DiBrito’s office.

*Reminder to all high school students please do not leave your bags outside of the room across from Mrs. DiBrito’s office. Please ask Mrs. DiBrito or Mr. Berlin to open the doors for you.

Sports Today:
Varsity soccer plays at
Marcellus – Howardsville Christian at 5:00 pm.
JV Football against Cassopolis has been cancelled.
*If continued rain, the MS football practice will be at the LMCHS gym from 6:00pm to 7:30pm. Uniform will be team shirt, shorts, helmet & tennis shoes.
*Varsity & JV Football will have practice from 6 to 7:30 at the elementary school gym.
*Attention all students: The Drama Club will hold its first meeting tomorrow in the Drama classroom in the gym up on the balcony. The meetings will take place during MS & HS lunch. Please get your lunches ASAP and go up for the meeting. On meeting days it’s advisable to bring a sack lunch.
*Attention freshman: if there are any freshman that still need an English Lit book please see Mrs. Ordiway in the front office immediately after school today.
