Lake Michigan Catholic Elementary school is proud to announce our "Teacher of the Year" for the 2009-10 school year.  Congratulations to Mrs. Pam Bodley, LMC Elementary 3rd grade teacher who was selected as this year's winner!

Mrs. Bodley began her teaching career at Lake Michigan Catholic Elementary in 2000.  She began as a Junior Kindergarten teacher and moved to third grade in 2003.  She teaches our hands-on science curriculum to both third grades and has enjoyed the challenge of frogs and crayfish that have come along with this!  Mrs. Bodley creates a warm, inviting classroom environment where mutual respect is obvious along with high academic expectations.  Her proactive communication with parents has allowed her positive learning environment to thrive.  She is a nurturing influence and has been instrumental is guiding students to higher learning through differentiating instruction at both ends of the spectrum.  Students are able to flex both their academic and creative muscle in Mrs. Bodley’s third grade.  We are truly blessed to call her our colleague!
