Best Buy te@ch $2,500 prize winner.  The Best Buy te@ch program recognizes schools and teachers who make learning fun by integrating interactive technology into the curriculum.  Thousands of schools across the country applied, making the selection process highly competitive.  Mrs. Hanley’s winning project centers upon digital storytelling.  Typically this writing method has been used with middle and high school students, but Mrs. Hanley has been a leader through the Third Coast Writing Project in successfully adapting this technique to very young writers and educating other teachers in the region.  The $2,500 prize will be used to enhance the scope of her project.
